Yup, nope, got nothing. I have been so not-motivated that my motivation has been in the negatives. I did not even post that flash fiction thing on Bluesky. I did a funny little rant on the latest Marvel Movies, Captain America: Brave New World. Hot take, I enjoyed it and don’t care if others are not down with it. I mean, comic book movies are either something you enjoy or you're not into them. And that is fine either way.
So, going to the website and yeah, only one view. And yeah, my good buddy Zach is the only one who reposted it. I kind of had a feeling that would happen. Mostly because the boat had sailed for reviews of the new Cap movie like the hour it came out in theaters.
Well, I had fun writing it but it took so darn long to do. Like, four or five hours. Articles are no joke to write. It kind of takes a lot of time, even if it is for a lark.
In the last week, I wrote a chapter for a new writing project. I did managed to get to 27k+ steps in a day which is awesome and my first big steps achievement of the year! The weather is getting nicer in my area and my motivation to walk is still there. Or I was so engrossed into a podcast I was listening to that I lost track of how many steps I was doing.

I want to commit to the practice of either writing or getting my steps in. If I’m not walking then I should be writing. If I’m not writing then I better be writing. It’s a habit I want to get into. For the whole of 2025. I know the coming week, I have a lot of hours at work and might not write. At the very least, I should get my steps in.
So, yeah, I’ve got little to say this week (he says after almost 400 words written 😆
I will conclude this week’s update with a little fun addition. So, this thing I plan on posting on Bluesky is a flash fiction featuring a Not-So-Good Superhero. Making his debut here on the Buck Bloom Book’s website, Artie the Arsewhole.

Adventures of Artie the Arsewhole #1
The criminal is trapped in the stolen car that has crashed into a river.
“Someone, help me!”
They cry out for help. This looks like a job for—
“YEAH! Get that car out of that river! YEAH!”
“Oh no, it is Artie the Arsewhole! I changed my mind! Do not help—”
“YEAH! Lift that car! AWH! It's really heavy! YEAH!”
Looks like our hero is unable to—
“YEAH! Super-Car-Toss! YEAH!”
“Oh-NO!!!”
Our hero then puts a little too much oomph into tossing that car. The car and the criminal then evaporate from atmospheric friction!
At least the car is no longer in the river.
“YEAH! Toss’d that car! YEAH! Be that ARSEWHOLE!”
You be that Arsewhole, Artie. You be that Arsewhole.

So far, I’ve made ten of these. And one day I will be posting them on Bluesky. When I feel like it. Yeah! Motivation is all over the place! Yeah! Be that Lazy Writer!
Good Luck and spare some motivation if you can?
