It is very surreal to finally be holding a physical copy of a book I contributed to! Love it!

Another week has gone by and I have been sitting a lot. I feel so much better than last week but still very itchy. Thank good gravy lotions are a thing. Nice and mooooiiiist!

Anyway, so Booktrib has released a press-release of “The Last Job: File 3454” and I will link what I find here . . .

So, umm, I’m looking on my computer and only getting this link as one press release. And on my phone there appears to be another one from, of all places, a Nebraska News Channel website? Random but cool. And since I’m not finding it on my computer but finding it on my phone, I’m kind of curious what is going on . . . and a bit sus.

So I go to the Southeast - News Channel Nebraska on my computer, it seems legit and I search for “The Last Job” and . . . nothing. I’m getting nothing from the search on the website itself. I’m trying all kinds of searches and nope, nothing. So . . . is the one on my phone real?

I clicked on it and it seemed real but the article had my picture but not Zach’s picture. And it's riddled with ads, almost after every paragraph and sentence there are ads. This perplexes and confuses me greatly. Maybe the article was on the site then removed and for some reason my phone still sees it? I’m going to avoid linking to this on the blog and I’m hoping my phone didn’t discover some dark and dank corner of the website.

Amongst the Google search for “The Last Job,” I found Zach’s hard work on Instagram, where he is posting every day all throughout January (2025) for a challenge:

So, check that out! And check out Zach’s first book, “Sem’se - A New Beginning”:

And here is the Goodreads page for “The Last Job: File 3454”:

Finding all kinds of interesting stuff with this Google Search for “The Last Job:File 3454”. I’m hoping my phone does not get abducted by martians after discovering that cursed news site article featuring our book. Is this AI? Is Skynet real? What is reality? Why is Gamora?!

In other news, I am about to release my first article series for the blog. After a month of constant anime viewing during my recovery, I decided to put all that watching to some use. And write an article about what anime I watched on the service known as Crunchyroll.

So much anime, so little time!

And apparently I watch 37 anime shows, in full, in one month. And the article was so long it ended up being four parts long. Each part will be released throughout January each Thursday. This is cool and I’m excited to see where this goes. At the very least, all of that anime watching will be put to some constructive use.

And blog stories! My first two blog stories have been released this weekend. I am super happy to finally be posting stories on the site. And in case anyone finds the site, the release days have been posted on the home page.

I’m excited because more chapters released means more content and things for people to enjoy on the site. Speaking of which, I am racking my brain already for what the next two blog stories will be. I have a list, I have been taking notes for many of the potential stories, and I think I have two in mind. But I will have to hash them out and actually write a few chapters before deciding to make them the next blog stories. So I’ll keep yah’all posted on that. Ah!

I did some tweaking with the site. Since I have been posting every Wednesday, I have put that on the home page and that text links to all categories for [Updates]. Which is really cool and more than my site needs but it's useful for future visitors and my own sanity.

Also I edited the “Introduction” page on the [Stories] page. Putting in links and adding a little more to it. I even put at the end of the Stories section on the home page a link to the “Introduction” page. It almost feels like I’m making a digital labyrinth. Now Bowie is stuck in my head just think that—🎵”Dance, Magic, Dance!”🎵

Honestly, the site has a lot going for it and it looks nice even with the additions. I’m still iffy about expanding into social media sites yet. It has been a handful so far with the site alone. And my-oh-my, so many of these social media websites are just visual noise. Sensory overload!

Zach is giving Instagram a shot and it has been working in getting a few followers for him. We shall see what the month of January with this posting every day challenge does for him. All I know is I’m doing what I can with my site and seeing where that goes.

I’m hearing a clicking noise outside my window right now. I think I’m going to check that out. If it’s Martians and they're here for my phone, I’ll just get a new one. If they abduct me though, that will be an interesting update for next week.

Good Luck and Google Search “The Last Job: File 3454”
